Nestled in the serene foothills of the NC mountains, Poplar Creek Tiny Home Village is a harmonious blend of natural beauty, sustainable living, and community connection. We've created a haven where breathtaking natural beauty meets the the simplicity of tiny home living, offering residents a life less ordinary - and more extraordinary.

Our Community

Poplar Creek Tiny Village will comprise of 30 home sites, subject to long term lot leases. Residents are welcome to bring their own tiny home on wheels, or you we can assist you with your purchase. We've designed our community to be a gateway to a life of serenity, sustainability and simplicity.

Our community is comprised up of tiny homes which are owned by our residents, and the sites are rented/leased on a long-term basis. Poplar Creek is situated on 10 wooded acres. Phase One is currently open and offers 10 home sites. Phase Two will offer 20 home sites, with construction expected to begin in 2025.

All home sites include:

• 50 AMP Service (separately metered)

• Septic Connections

• Municipal Water (separately metered)

• High Speed Internet

Our Location

Poplar Creek is located only a few miles from downtown Rutherfordton. The local area of Rutherford County, offers diverse attractions, but one notable area is Lake Lure. Conveniently located between Charlotte and Asheville, the area is known for its scenic beauty, outdoor activities, and the iconic Chimney Rock State Park.
